Hi there, can you be more specific - where you moving from - and do you mean shipping companies or just local removal companies? :)

Hi The Hallys

I moved to perth from newcastle under lyme a year ago. I used John Good Shipping, based in hull (01482-325781). Email shipping@johngood.co.uk). I dealt with a Paul Whiteley - dont know if he is still there. They were the cheapest and did a really good job - goods delivered before I expected them - took about 4 weeks - only one vase breakage - cant get better than that. At the Fremantle end I used Coote Logistics to clear goods and unpack. They were excellent also (tel 08 9430 5497). They dealt with all the paperwork and customs clearance. I dealt with Nicki there - she is superb. Hope this info is useful as it feels like a mountain to climb when you are trying to organise everything. Once you have the right people in place it usually goes pretty smoothly. Make sure you have list of the contents of EVERY BOX - no matter how small - and number the boxes to co-incide with list - our contained went through effortlessly - but if they think you have anything to hide or your goods are not properly marker - there can be big holdups and a lot of cost attached. Sorry this is so long - good luck :D
